Response:
This one filled us with pride and gratitude — great clients, great team, perfect results. The humble two-bedroom house was originally constructed in 1961 and designed by Bob Wendt, and later added on to by McHenry Shaffer Architecture. In (re)designing the kitchen, great room, and entryway, we did our best to tread lightly and respectfully while intentionally avoiding a true time capsule approach.

Client Comments:
“Bill Poole was the architect and designer on a recent renovation our Mid-Century modern home in the Kansas City area. I recommend him without reservation. The project was complicated and had a number of challenges, not the least of which were significant structural and energy efficiency issues. Another difficult goal was trying to maintain a semblance of historic accuracy while incorporating modern design and comforts. Frankly, the end result of the project exceeded my expectations. Thanks Bill. Great work.
